Well it’s about time the government let broadcasters join the 21st century with their lifting of the gambling advertising ban. Makes me laugh a bit because as any online bingo player knows we’ve been enjoying gaming advertising on the net for years. Seems as long as the ads promote sensible gambling (something you can learn all about on the net) and are not aimed at children everything will be fine. Interestingly, as much as people moan about advertising, I was reading somewhere that a huge percentage of our ability to make informed decisions is entirely dependent on advertising. It pays then to keep informed, especially in the world of online bingo halls where the next promotion or bonus could be your ticket to easy street. This is where a good online bingo portal comes in handy. Back to the news about the lifting of the advertising ban and I’ve noticed that the Reuters story I mentioned before is saying, “other restrictions forbid ads from suggesting gambling can solve debt problems, provide an escape from personal problems such as depression or make links to seduction or sexual success.â€? I don’t think we’ve had any problems like that in the online bingo community, do you? Written by John Witherspoon – Read more online bingo and celebrity news on http://bingostreet.com/ |
